I’m a college student pursuing a career in freelance medical writing. My first degree will be an Associate in Science, with college transfer, and a specific scientific specialty (probably biological) chosen. Since I’ve been excelling in English, the goal is to marry my writing abilities with my love of science in a productive way. Learning about medicine and health has always been an avid hobby for me, yet I knew I would never want to be a doctor. Almost every research paper I’ve done in college has been on a medical topic, so I finally came to the realization that medical writing is something I truly enjoy. I come from a family of technical writers/illustrators, so the field of technical writing in general feels like home.
